Lithuania will have one of the most extraordinary Sculpture Parks in the world, due to the determination, energy and talent of Mr. Gintaras Karosas.
The greatest contemporary artists contributed sending their projects from different countries to be transformed into large sculptures for Europos Parkas. Each of the works is carefully executed following the artist intention.
I visited the place several times in connection with my large project that Mr. Gintaras Karosas built up, so that the final result became exactly what I wanted – a space to contemplate, to experience.
I was very pleased with our collaboration and with the intellectual level which is behind the idea to creating a modern sculpture center – a park in which sculpture from all over the world meet public from all over the world.
I think that Lithuania can be really proud having a man like Mr. Gintaras Karosas, a talented artist, who has brought into being a dream of many countries and many people involved in culture, building Europos Parkas. Magdalena Abakanowicz |
